When do we play?
Mixed teams - All games are played on SaturdaysGirls only Teams Play on Sundays
When do we train?
Training is normally 1 night per week and lasts for about 1 hour. Once your coach has selected a night and time, that will be the night & time you train all season.
Can my child play with his friends?
In the 5's, 6's & 7's children can play with their friends. In the 8's to 10's it is preferred that children look to play in a team with other children of similar ability
Do I need to have played before?
No. Players of all abilities and skill levels are welcome.
At what age can I start playing?
Your child needs to be turning at least 5 in 2012.
In what Age Group will my child be playing in 2012?
The Age your child turns in 2012 will be the Age Group they play in. (e.g. if your child is turning 8 in 2011, they will play in the Under 8's Age Group). If the club believes a child would be better served either playing up or even down an age group for whatever reason, then together with the parents we will make a decision based on the best interests of your child.

Where are the Games played?
For the Under 5's,6's & 7's all games are played at Jellicoe Park in the morning.For the Under 8's to 11's games are played at both Jellicoe Park and Queens Park either in the morning or early afternoon.
What is the inclement weather policy?
In the event of rain, either on the morning or overnight we suggest you check the front page of the webiste. We will update the website by 8:00am on the weekend and 3:00pm on weekdays as to whether the parks are open or closed. If the parks are closed there is to be no traning or playing of games under any circumstances.
Do I need Boots & Shinpads?
You will need to purchase boots and shinpads for your child. At these age groups we recommend you do not purchase expensive boots as you child will grow out of them soon enough. Players need to wear their boots & shinpads to both training and the games. Children who forget to bring either will not be permiitted to participate - so please don't forget.
When does the Season start & finish?
In 2011, the season commenced on March 20th and ended mid August. It is anticipated that the 2012 season will follow similar dates.
How many games are there per season?
The club will endeavour to play as many rounds as possible. In 2011 each Age Group played 17 games.
Are there games during the school/ public holidays?
Games are scheduled for the first and last weekend of School Holidays. There are no games on the middle weekend of the school holidays. Except in April whereby Easter and the School Holidays commence on the weekend of the 7th & 8th of April, so games will be scheduled on the weekend of the 14th & 15th of April 2012.Games are scheduled on long weekends.
How is the league run and maintained?
The league is run by the Pagewood Soccer Club and Queens Park F.A. Club administrators manage the day to day operations. In 2011 there was a total of 146 teams participating (up from 108 in 2010) with a total of 162 Coaches, 153 Managers and numerous other volunteers.
Is my child allowed to wear their glasses?
Players are permitted to wear SPORTS glasses when playing or training. Normal glasses must not be worn.
What size ball do they play with?
The Under 5's to 9's use a size 3 ball and the Under 10's & 11's a Size 4 ball. Each player recieves a new ball (which you keep) at the beginning of the season.
As a parent, what do I need to provide?
You will need to provide boots, shinpads, water bottle, transportation and a lot of positive support.
